This document provides an interface to the Cordes-Lazio model for the Galactic distribution of free electrons (Cordes & Lazio 2002). By specifying a line of sight, one can calculate various scattering and scintillation quantities at a specified frequency.
Lines of sight can be specified by
A graphical interface;
Entering the coordinates of the line of sight; or
Selecting a pulsar.
Alternately, one can download the source code (68 kB gzip'ed tar file) for the model and incorporate it into programs locally.

These images show contours of constant dispersion measure (DM) and
(the logarithm of the) scattering measure (SM). Clicking in one of
these images will report the various scattering parameters for the
specified line of sight for a distance of 30 kpc.
